Hi Gareth my sit down to catch up seems to have arrived now on a Wednesday morning! So your piece about instantaneous posts and referencing back etc have fallen flat on me.......or have they. My partner Leslie says I'm on my phone far too much. The thing is there is now so much of it, so much to read, to enjoy, to get angry at that other things get left behind or delayed. I've made the big decision this week to have a weed out. (Don't worry you guys are definitely not in the online compost bin). I so enjoy joining in with your walks along the canal and onto forest tracks and to Inveraray Castle. I so miss having a dog. I love seeing what you do around Keepers both in and out and get inspired. Isn't that what life's all about. I do occasionally write letters to people. Being ancient I can remember the joy of receiving a letter, so I like to think others do too. Anyway Gareth thanks again for a lovely read, I'm already looking forward to the next installment.
You all have built such a nice life there. I am so happy for you (and quite jealous).
I did have a wonderful natter with a friend this afternoon - my husband is out of town, and this girlfriend is starting a new job tomorrow, and we hadn't seen each other since the holidays. It was indeed good for the soul.
Happy Sunday! I find your updates to be ever so inspiring! How you are managing to find time for fun in your clearly busy life is what inspires me. And- I just love the updates on your projects! Wishing you all the best of life always :)
"I've got sunshine on a cloudy day / When it's cold outside, I've got the month of May …. You are that sunshine thank you for brightening up a rainy day ❤️
Always love reading your words. I’m completely with you on notifications (turned mine off for a holiday in 2023 and they’ve not gone back on since) and the need to actually close down the email tab so you can do the thinking and learning side of work (the stuff that enables the doing!). I resonate deeply my friend. Have a lovely Sunday.
Love hearing about your life and friends up in Argyll, thank you for sharing. I'm definitely going to try your suggestion of reading emails only at certain times of the day - hopefully it will help me to achieve all the other things I am supposed to be doing! Happy Burns night - looking forward to hearing all about it. Have a great week.
Alwys in Scotland with you guys💚💚💚
